Imam Imran is a Hafith of the Qur’an and the Imam of the Islamic Cultural Association in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He grew up in NJ and was raised under the mentorship of Sh Mohammad Qatanani. Eventually Imran started leading Taraweeh and took on his first full-time Imam position when he was 21 years old, and continued to take advantage of other mashaayikh in his locality. Imran is continuing his studies in Shafi’i Fiqh with Dr. Abdelhamid Salem in Detroit and pursuing a master’s degree in Near Middle Eastern Studies at Wayne State University. Imran is also publishing his first book, a translation of Sh Al-Kilani’s “How the Generation of Salaheddin Emerged: The Liberation of Al-Quds” to be available in upcoming months.
